Colorado Live Events provided complete AV production for the Smart Business Dealmakers Conference at The Westin Denver Downtown — a business conference bringing together law firms, banks, and advisory firms for a day of general sessions and breakout discussions.
Our team built a branded general session stage with dual screens and HD laser projection, ran professional audio and wireless microphones throughout, and supported two separate breakout rooms — all managed from a single production desk from load-in through strike.
The general session stage was built around dual 12' screens and HD laser projection, framed by pipe and drape and uplighting, with the conference's sponsor logos and Denver skyline branding displayed behind the podium and a two-chair interview setup.
HK Audio Elements column array speakers and a Behringer WING Compact mixer handled sound for the full ballroom, with Sennheiser EW-D wireless covering both lavalier and handheld microphones for speakers and panelists.
Presentation content ran across two dedicated computers — one running ProPresenter for sponsor videos and show content, and a second running PowerPoint for speaker slides — with a video switcher handling clean transitions between sources.
A Perfect Cue clicker gave presenters control of their own slides on stage, while our team ran the full show from a single production desk throughout the day.
Alongside the general session, Colorado Live Events outfitted the conference's two breakout rooms with 10' screens and HD laser projection — sized down from the main stage but built to the same standard.
Each breakout room ran on its own HK Audio Elements column array system with a Behringer XAir 18 digital mixer and Sennheiser EW-D handheld wireless, giving panelists and moderators clear, dependable sound for smaller-format discussions.
