A two-day multi-room conference with one general session and four simultaneous breakout rooms, coordinated as a single production.
Colorado Live Events delivered complete audiovisual production for a multi-room corporate conference at the Hilton Denver City Center — one general session and four breakout rooms operating simultaneously over two conference days.
The production required coordinated deployment of projection, professional audio systems, Zoom integration, wireless microphones, PTZ cameras, presentation management, and technical support across multiple meeting spaces, so attendees could move seamlessly between sessions.
Load-in began on March 10 with the coordinated setup of the general session and four breakout rooms. Each space required independent projection, audio, presentation connectivity, and technical preparation before the conference began.
Standardizing the breakout room systems simplified presenter transitions and technical support, while the general session required dedicated audio, projection, Zoom integration, PTZ camera support, presentation switching, and stage lighting.
The conference used a dedicated presentation workflow built around Resolume, PowerPoint, Companion, and Stream Deck. A computer at the podium allowed presenters to access their content directly, while a wireless clicker and confidence monitors supported natural presentation delivery.
Background music was managed from a dedicated Soundtrack computer, while QLab ran voice-overs and scheduled announcements from a separate playback system.
The main audio system used two JBL SRX906LA line-array elements per side, with two additional SRX906LA cabinets providing front-fill coverage. A dual 18-inch subwoofer was positioned in the center to support walk-in music and event playback.
The Behringer WING Compact handled all audio mixing, with AutoMix maintaining consistent speech levels. Six Sennheiser EW-D wireless systems with antenna distribution supported both handheld and lavalier microphones.
Each breakout room was built out and tested well ahead of the first session — projector, screen, podium microphone, and presentation computer all staged and confidence-checked before attendees arrived.
Once the conference was underway, every room ran independently: presenters connected their own laptops, content played cleanly on screen, and attendees moved between concurrent sessions without any AV hiccups along the way.
