Sound & Lighting for a Nashville Songwriters' Round
An intimate "in the round" acoustic performance featuring Nashville hit-songwriters Lee Thomas Miller and The Warren Brothers, produced for a private YPO event in Sedalia, Colorado.
Colorado Live Events provided sound, lighting, and sound engineering for a private YPO event in Sedalia, Colorado, featuring an intimate "in the round" acoustic performance from Nashville songwriters Lee Thomas Miller and The Warren Brothers.
Seated together on a rustic barn stage, the three performers traded songs and stories behind the hits they've written for other major country artists — a stripped-down format that called for natural, well-balanced sound and warm lighting rather than a full concert production.

An Intimate "In the Round" Performance
Rather than a stage full of production, the show called for three chairs, three microphones, and a room quiet enough to hear every lyric. Lee Thomas Miller and The Warren Brothers performed their catalog of Nashville hits acoustically, trading songs and the stories behind them for a private audience of YPO members.
Our team miked each performer individually and balanced the mix live, so every voice and guitar came through clearly without ever feeling amplified.
Warm Lighting for a Rustic Barn Venue
The venue's exposed wood walls and string lights already set an inviting, low-key tone, so our lighting design worked with that character instead of overriding it — soft, warm washes on the performers that kept the focus on the songs.
A dedicated sound engineer ran the show from soundcheck through the final song, keeping the acoustic mix clean and consistent for the room.
Challenge, Solution, and Result
01 — THE CHALLENGE
Concert-Caliber Talent, Living-Room Intimacy
Nashville hit-songwriters performing in a stripped-down, acoustic "in the round" format needed sound reinforcement subtle enough to preserve the intimacy of the room while still reaching every seat clearly.
02 — OUR SOLUTION
Individually Miked, Live-Balanced Sound
Colorado Live Events miked each performer and their guitar separately, balancing the mix live and pairing it with warm, low-key lighting suited to the venue's rustic character.
03 — THE RESULT
An Unforgettable Private Show
YPO members experienced an unforgettable evening of storytelling and hit songs performed acoustically, with sound and lighting that supported the moment without ever overshadowing it.

We used Jack at Colorado Live Events for our celebration and he was amazing to work with. The LED screen made the event pop and his team also provided sound, a/v and tech support for the whole evening. I cannot say enough good things about how easy to work with and kind they all were! 10 out of 10 would use them again!

I had the opportunity to work with Jack and his team at Colorado Live Events for a conference event in Denver for a client of mine and I can only say that he is the most dependable and professional guy one can trust all event requirements. My client was super happy and to enhance my client experience, Jack even went out of his way to assist me in printing roll up banners for the event and even did venue meetings on my behalf as I was remotely doing the event sitting out of India. I was updated real time about the development of the setup and during the event.., so all in all had a great experience with Jack. Anyone can blindly trust them for their work.., most professional team I came across in recent time. Thanks Jack for all the support. Take care
